First Week

First full week of school tomorrow… I can’t wait for more Japanese. I think I am insane actually… but thats ok! Now I just am going to have to study all the characters, hiragana and katakana a freaking lot or else I will get super far behind and then I’ll die.
Ok maybe not die… but you know…
Anyway, life is good. I am going to go to the Japanese Language Exchange tomorrow if I can!
Class!

So this week was my first few days of class… Thursday and Friday to be exact.
So far I really like them all. I am most excited about Japanese! (日本語！). But I am also most apprehensive about it, for obvious reasons. It’s so different and strange yet so awesome!
I am thinking English will be ok especially since the secondary topic is FOOD! Plus the teacher seems awesome.
Philosophy will be somewhat of a bitch because its abstract, a giant class, and just different to me.
Lastly, Womens Studies should be interesting as well. I am curious as to why study women but also excited. It’s an online class so maybe we can discuss lesbians too! hahaha 
. The teacher seems very nice and the online classroom thingy is functional. Much better than TCCs.
I love love love my new place. Love my bed especially! New from Ikea!! haha. Built mainly by my roommate Brittany in fact. I also love her dogs and cat. I love animals and its fun and exciting to be around some that are cool. Plus the cat loves me which is ALWAYS good 
… Then again, I am a cat… or so I’m told.
I’m visiting the parents this weekend… which is a tad weird since I only moved Monday night. But mom missed me and I wanted to come home so it shall be good!
I haven’t updated in a while and I guess I don’t have much else to say. Questions? Comments? Leave one at the bottom!

All I gotta say is…. Listen to Lambda Weekly this week because I am damned sure we will talk about Prop 8.
Also, I am at a friends house and I am tired… I sign papers for my job tomorrow (today?) and all will be well. I am moving to Denton the weekend before the 23rd 
Lambda Weekly, NTX Polka and KNON

You know what is sad? I am not going to have a car for at least a bit after the start of the school year. This means I am going to have to stop interning at KNON 
. I’ll still be able to do some website work for Lambda Weekly as I usually do but I still love hanging out in the studio and such. It is very fun! I hope that sometime soon there will be a way for me to get a car at a reasonable price. Curses being poor and having debts and such!
My parents house is falling apart so they are going to have to spend close to 25k to get it repaired and new siding and such. They also will help me with my tuition and such. I am going to have a job on campus starting in September so I will have some money that I am earning myself as well as the money for the rent. I am super excited about that though!
I am taking my parents to my new place of living tomorrow (today I guess? Sunday.) to show them where I’ll be living and they can meet my roommate! They seem to be excited about that as well so yay to that!
Anyway, for now I suppose I am done writing. I am mildly tired and there is SecondCat trying to get me to play with her… which is weird because she is usually very solitary and alone. Silly cats.
Blogggg

I love blogging but I find myself not knowing what to write about? I don’t know what is even interesting. I don’t feel creative enough to just randomly write stories… and I feel like my normal life is boring… Then again, it is kind of like a release if you can talk about your life and vent to the real world…
Who know :/. It seems everyone else has interesting blogs and interesting things to say and I am just stuck in this… place. I guess I could talk more about radio and the stuff I do there. I love that for sure. And I suppose once school starts I will be able to talk about that… Maybe I am just stuck in the summer doldrums…
Maybe there is just nothing worthy of writing about anyway LOL. Anyway, comments I guess.
Creativity

Webspace Selling

So I wanted to write more about what this whole webspace and selling of it would mean. I can’t really help with web design myself but I can refer you to a friend who can. What I can do is help you get set up with a photo gallery, blog, or what they would call a “Content Management System” or CMS.
So, on to what you would get. You could host a domain you own yourself (something.com) or you can use a subdomain of one of mine (something.darkdna.net or something.lsyo.com). You would get around 1GB of space (or more if you needed it) and you would get 24/7 access to me. Granted, I do leave the computer sometime but still 
. If I get enough interest I might be able to offer you more. You would get an “@darkdna.net” email address as well… And I could host your email as well for your domain.
I feel like I am forgetting something important but I am sure you guys will remind me and I can add it to this post later.

So I got an old iMac… First Gen Intel…. 2GHz Core Duo… I love it. I wish RAM wasn’t so expensive for it. But meh… One day I will be rich and famous and it won’t even matter how much RAM costs lol… Maybe I’m lame? Probably. Oh well… Eventually I’ll be able to build an AWESOME Desktop with my favourite Guy Byars … Until then >.>
Webspace, Servers, Technology

Banking

I have finally got my banking in order. Moving away from the hell that is Wells Fargo and on to bigger and better things… ok really its a smaller thing but it is still better. Check it out! If I refer you to ING Direct (my new bank) and you open a savings or Electric Orange Checking account with at least 250 dollars you get 25 bucks and I get 10 for referring ya .
Yeah, that is pretty much a shameless plug as well! NO SHAME!
I am really enjoying the new iPhone 4 FaceTime with my mom and family! Who said no one ever used video chat?!
